EDGE. Aggies . Micheal Clemons. 5. player. 873.

The Philadelphia Eagles continue to add depth at some pretty important positions.

Many of us fully expect Derek Barnett and Ryan Kerrigan to leave. We’re well aware of the fact that Philly may bring Brandon Graham back for another season. Despite taking David Ojabo in Round 1, no one would argue if the Birds took another edge guy later. That’s exactly what we have them do with the first of three selections in the fifth round.

Micheal Clemons is the choice. He’s six-foot-four. He tips the scales at 265 pounds, and in his final season with the Texas A&M Aggies, he racked up 32 tackles, seven sacks, and a forced fumble in his final ten games at College Station during the 2021 college football season.

Ben Brown. 5. player. 841. . Center/Guard. Rebels

Regardless of what Jason Kelce’s decision winds up being, we know that he won’t play forever. The Eagles and offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland love versatility, and with the second pick in Round 5, center/guard hybrid Ben Brown is the choice.

Bulldogs . J.T. Daniels. 5. player. 814. . Quarterback

With there being a possibility of Gardner Minshew becoming trade bait, Philly has to think about what they might do if Jalen Hurts is ever again hampered by injury. The QB factory is re-ignited, and J.T. Daniels of the Georgia Bulldogs is the choice.

841. . Wide Receiver. Rebels . Dontario Drummond. 6. player

The Eagles have invested so much draft capital into wide receivers that didn’t pan out that we’re just hoping that they either trade for one or add one in free agency and then stock the shelf with one later.

Dontario Drummond was Matt Corral’s top option in Ole Miss’s pass-happy offense, but you can also argue why about 20 receivers in this class are better. For that reason, we expect him to slide and for him to be available in Round 6. This will wind up being a good-value pick/steal a la Kenneth Gainwell being taken in Round 5 last year.
