Did Joe Burrow’s put an even brighter spotlight on Eagles QB Jalen Hurts?

Hang around with any bachelors that you know, and there’s no telling what you might see at ‘the pad’. There are futons where the sofas should be. Pictures of Jalen Hurts and other Philadelphia Eagles stars are everywhere pictures of their family members should be, and then, there’s the kitchen.

You’ll notice that you’ll find the same things in the bachelor’s kitchen that you’ll find in your own (or in the kitchens of many happily married couples that you know). There may not be a table, but there’s a refrigerator, a stove, and a microwave. There are probably even Eagles decals on the fridge as well as coffee mugs and glasses that sport the team’s logo.

Here’s something else that you’ll often notice in the bachelor’s kitchen. The microwave often gets much more burn than the stove (pun intended). It’s easier to use. It prepares meals a lot faster. All one has to do is push a button, and dinner is served in three minutes.

Why is that important? It’s simple. The microwave and stove are metaphors for the patience level of NFL fan bases.

Some fans are like the stove. They’re patient. They’re willing to wait a little longer to enjoy the perfect soufflé later. Some fan bases are of the microwave variety. They want everything now, and in a league like the NFL, it’s hard to blame them. Championship windows close as quickly as they open.

The Cincinnati Bengals are on the verge of their first-ever Super Bowl win and Vince Lombardi Trophy. It’s been a long wait (talk about patience). In the process, their second-year quarterback, Joe Burrow, has become an even bigger star. He’s also made things harder on the league’s other young quarterbacks, Jalen Hurts included. Oh, you disagree? Let’s discuss this one further.

Here are a couple of reasons why Joe Burrow’s success has placed Jalen Hurts on a much warmer seat.
