Leo Chenal and Brian Asamoah would turn out to be fine Philadelphia Eagles.

Call us crazy, but ever since T.J. Edwards got to town, we’ve been talking to more and more Eagles fans that watch Wisconsin Badgers football. There were concerns about T.J.’s speed years ago, and some say that may have led to him not being drafted.

Well, Leo Chenal can pick them up and put them down as they say. He ran a 4.53-second 40-yard dash at the most recent NFL Scouting Combine, and after a nice close to his NCAA football career, one in which he racked up 115 tackles and eight sacks, this six-foot-two, 255-pound freak of nature is on every NFL team’s big board now.

player. 815. . . . Brian Asamoah, Oklahoma. 5

This potential Eagles prospect truly deserves an honorable mention. Playing in the Big 12 makes it easy to get overlooked as a defensive prospect, but Brian Asamoah was worth the price of admission all season, turning in 80 tackles (56 were of the solo variety), a sack, and two forced fumbles for the Oklahoma Sooners in 2021.

Jonathan Gannon would have a ball with this guy in his wheelhouse, but the Eagles have better options if they’re looking to upgrade the position.
