We expect Jordan Mailata and Dallas Goedert to be key pieces for years to come.

Remember when we were talking about value? It doesn’t get much better than grabbing a guy out of Australia, a guy that never played American football before that happening, and seeing that guy turn into one of the better young offensive linemen in the NFL.

In 2021, Jordan Mailata beat out a former first-rounder, Andre Dillard, for Philadelphia’s starting left tackle for a while. It appears he’s going to be around for a while. When his playing days are over, hopefully, a long time from now, we won’t be surprised if Jordan Mailata occupies a much higher spot on this list.

The Eagles may not have hit a home run with that quarterback from North Dakota, but they certainly knocked one out of the park with the selection of a certain tight end from South Dakota. Dallas Goedert is everything that you want in a tight end. Why else would Philly move on from a legend and place him at the top of their depth chart?

The Eagles may not draft wide receivers well, but they have a nose for those ‘offensive linemen with hands’. Goedert is just another in a long line of great ones and could be seen as the best when his playing days are over.
