60. . . . Minnesota Vikings. . team

The Vikings visit the Philadelphia Eagles bolstering a potentially dangerous play-action offense with Captain Kirk and the purple people eaters.

In Week 2 of the 2022 season, the Minnesota Vikings come to Philly to face the Eagles in an inner-conference battle. These are two teams that many believe will battle for playoff spots.

The Vikings have some stars on their offense who are worth a mention. They have an above-average and consistent quarterback in Kirk Cousins. There’s a true bell-cow and super-talented running back in Dalvin Cook. They have an absolute superstar at wide receiver in Justin Jefferson. They also have up-and-coming pass-catchers in KJ Osborn and Irv Smith Jr. on the roster. There’s also a touchdown machine in Adam Thielen. This is a more than formidable crew.

Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson will require constant attention. If the Philadelphia Eagles allow their running game to get going, huge, game-wrecking play-action bombs with these weapons are sure to follow.

The Vikes do have offensive weaknesses. They have a subpar offensive line that is young and can be beaten. Philadelphia’s front will have its share of opportunities. Both Slay and Bradberry can neutralize the Jefferson threat. The Birds can allow either man to line up and battle him one on one.

This is a talented offense, but it is also an offense the Eagles can contain if they come prepared and take care of business at home. Should be a great treat for fans who like to watch bruising running offenses duel.
