Rely on Sanders heavily versus the teams he’s had the most success.

Speaking of teams that the Philadelphia Eagles have seen recent success while playing… Miles Sanders has enjoyed early success whenever the New Orleans Saints are on the other sideline. He’s racked up 209 rushing yards versus N.O. in two career meetings.

December 13th, 2020, would be the first time Miles Sanders played against New Orleans, and he had a field day with the team by running for 115 yards on 14 carries with two touchdowns in a 24-21 win for the Birds. The highlight of this game was when Sanders ran for an 82-yard touchdown with less than two minutes left in the first half.

The second meeting between the Eagles’ running back and the Saints came on November 21st, 2021, when Sanders ran for 94 yards on 16 carries in the team’s 40-29 blowout win. His longest run in this game was a 25-yarder in the middle of the first quarter.

Guess who is on the Eagles’ schedule once again this year? It’s one of Miles Sanders’s favorite teams (outside of Philly and the Commanders of course). The Birds get New Orleans. on New Year’s Day at Lincoln Financial Field.

It wouldn’t be an unwelcomed sight to see Sanders eclipse 100 yards rushing in that one. His efforts will be needed. This Saints team will be better than the one the Eagles have seen during the past two seasons.
