You can best believe all eyes will be on the Eagles 2022 draftees.

Credit rookie Jordan Davis for being the class act after going viral for shoving his teammate, Cam Jurgens, around during the Eagles’ open practice. Cam took some heat for that, but he shouldn’t.

He’s a baller as well, and with Jason Kelce out following a medical procedure, we should get some extended looks at him. The first of which comes in Week 1 of the preseason.

54. . . . Nakobe Dean, linebacker. 17. player

Nakobe Dean is driven and talented. He’s also been the subject of conversation and controversy. There were the injury rumors that transformed a man that everyone thought was a first-rounder into a third-round selection. There were questions about whether or not his smaller frame would limit his ability to make an impact from the linebacker position. Now, there’s another narrative.

He’s been pretty quiet from a performance standpoint. It’s hard to remember any splash plays that he made during training camp… if he made any.

That’s okay though. The Birds are loaded at linebacker, and there isn’t any pressure on him to have to master everything a be a difference-maker early… We know… It still sounds crazy to say that, right?

Trending. Lesser-mentioned Eagles whose stock is rising. light

Nakobe Dean will make the roster, and once things click, he’ll be great for a long time. For now, he needs as many snaps as possible, and frankly, no one would be disappointed if he gets a ton of work in all three preseason games. He can handle the workload.
