879. . . . Tyler Davis, Clemson. 8. player

Here are a couple of guys that could intrigue the Eagles’ brass on Day 2 of the NFL Draft.

As they often are, the Clemson Tigers are loaded along the defensive front. Tyler Davis might be their second-best interior defensive lineman (more on that later), and that’s scary because he’s flashed often during the past three seasons (30 career games), tallying 80 tackles including 17 for a loss and ten sacks over that time.

Pay attention to his teammate, Ruke Orhorhoro if you’re checking out some of Clemson’s games as well. He stepped in following Bryan Bresee’s injury and had a solid season, tallying 36 tackles and 2.5 sacks.

. . . Keeanu Benton, Wisconsin. 7. player. 809

Keeanu Benton’s first two years at the NCAA level were rather uneventful as he racked up 21 total tackles in 2019 and 2020. His production in 2021 was much better: 24 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and two pass breakups in 12 games. What will he do during his final run?

A solid showing could boost his stock and result in him rising on a few boards. Proving that he can produce as a consistent pass-rusher would help him immensely as the coming Wisconsin Badgers season for Benton is about proving one thing, last year was no fluke and he’s more than a one-year wonder.
