Here are a handful of other Eagles we’ll be watching when Philadelphia takes the field on offense.

Much of the offensive roster is set, but there are still a few jobs to be won and a few roster battles that may come down to the wire. Keep an eye on the following BIrds.

Jason Huntley and Kennedy Brooks, running backs

The Eagles could throw us all a curveball and decide they want to keep three running backs on the roster, but seeing as how the best one they have is always hurt, keeping four could be the better play. Undrafted rookie Kennedy Brooks and the veteran incumbent Jason Huntley are in a battle for that job.

Both had their moments. The former rushed for 26 yards on seven carries and hauled in a late two-yard reception to put the Birds up at the time. The latter turned in 48 yards and a rushing touchdown on 16 carries. Neither did much to distinguish themself over the other. Both should see more playing time on Sunday.

Sua Opeta, offensive line

We’ll keep this short and sweet. Sua Opeta saw some extended action. He was a mixed bag, but that’s okay, we’re aware of what he brings to the table, and he has two more chances to tighten things up. He’s probably a sure bet to make the roster though.
