35. 35. 54. Lincoln Financial Field. 10. Week 13. Sunday, December 4th.

A.J. Brown wasn’t the only Eagles wideout to have a big day versus the Titans.

After his breakout performance in Washington, DeVonta Smith would collect 360 receiving yards and two receiving TDs over the following eight-game stretch. December’s first battle was billed as a revenge game of sorts. A.J. Brown took the field for the first time as an opponent of the Tennessee Titans, and both he and DeVonta had a day.

Skinny Batman torched the two-tone blue to the tune of five receptions, 102 yards receiving, and a trip to the end zone. He finished with a 20.4 yards-per-catch average.

The Titans’ defensive backfield was no match for Philly’s receiving corps as Smith would haul in a 34-yard touchdown reception on the first drive to open the scoring. DeVonta, with Lincoln Financial Field as the backdrop and the hometown crowd in attendance, showed all the makings of a future phenom.

It was nice to see DeVonta find his groove in this one. Fans wouldn’t have to wait as long for his next highlight-reel performance as they did for this one. In Week 15, during a trip to the Windy City, he put on a show again.
