. Dak Prescott. 2. player. 123. .

Dak Prescott lands behind his Eagles rival and takes up residency as the second-best quarterback in the NFC East.

Get a load of this theory. “Dak Prescott is Kirk Cousins with a PR firm.” While we’d like to take credit for coming up with that post, Twitter is a funny place and original thought is a fluid concept.

Regardless, the comparison is an apt one. Dak is a B+ quarterback that plays occasional F-level games but is also capable of an A+ performance.

Versus the Philadelphia Eagles this season, Dak played one of the best games of his entire seven-year career. Against the Washington Commanders in Week 18, he played one of the worst.

Dak is a great leader and is very corporate. That, and perhaps his penchant for padding his stats versus weak teams helped catapult him to an extension that earns him an average of $40 million annually.

Final regular-season grades (Average: 88)

Leadership: A
Athleticism: B+
Vision: B-
Rhythm: A
Efficiency: A

Dak is a decent athlete and throws the ball with good rhythm and an efficient throwing motion but he leads the league in interceptions having thrown 15 picks this season. That includes 14 interceptions in his last 11 games.

Throwing the ball to CeeDee Lamb is one thing. Targeting Noah Brown, the team’s number-four receiver, six times. including a pick-six on an alert on slant spacing is indefensible.

Dak is capable of greatness, but he rarely ever achieves it.
