Here’s a look at some of the major checkpoints on Howie Roseman’s offseason to-do list.

His aggressive approach towards building winning rosters… That innate ability to stay plugged in and find a seat at the most important negotiating tables (even if he backs away from said table)… Howie Roseman’s mastery of contracts and the NFL’s salary cap have all assisted him in earning two Executive of the Year nods from the Pro Football Writers of America (2017, 2022). If he makes chicken salad this time around, we may be talking about a third next February.

We do not doubt that he can get the job done. He’s earned our respect and support in that regard. Fingers are crossed for some positive outcomes to some of the biggest stories we’ve seen so far this offseason.

Answer the Jason Kelce question quickly.

This is one of those areas where we can easily wind up on opposite sides of the discussion. Jason Kelce has earned the right to take his time in deciding whether or not he’ll return for a 13th season. No one will deny that.

It’s equally difficult to refute that we could answer a ton of questions about what routes should be taken in building the 2023 roster if we knew what the future Hall of Famer’s plans were.

Again, Jason has earned the right to ponder. We’re all aware of that, but the sooner this domino falls the better. We know that Jason knows that as well. One of the reasons we love him is because of his intellect. We’ll see if an answer comes quickly.
