Here are a few other additions that could provide solid depth options.

What are you thinking? All of this sounds farfetched, right? Sure, money is tight, even with an expanded 2023 salary cap, but we once saw Howie Roseman add Alshon Jeffery AND Torrey Smith under similar circumstances in 2017 when they both were among the top free-agent wide receivers and the Birds seemingly had no money to spend.

In other words, never doubt what Howie can do with seemingly minimal resources.

Philly won’t need to go ‘full throttle’ to sign any of the remaining guys on this list, but these next two would be wonderful insurance options if they’re available post-draft and the Birds still have some need at their positions.

O.J. Howard, tight end (Alabama, 2016)

As is the case with Jacobs, O.J. Howard plays a position that Philly probably won’t place a premium on, but if O.J.’s market isn’t what he expects and his price tag winds up being less expensive than expected, he’d be an intriguing TE2 behind Dallas Goedert. Think of the matchup nightmares that would cause at the second level of every opposing defense.

Philly loves Jack Stoll, and so do we. Still, if last season didn’t teach us anything else, we learned a very valuable lesson. If Goedert is injured and forced to miss time. The tight end unit falls off in a hurry.

Bradley Bozeman, offensive lineman (Alabama, 2016-2017)

Bradley Bozeman has played both the center and left guard positions during his career, and while Philly doesn’t have an immediate need at either position, especially if Jason Kelce returns for a lucky 13th season, giving Jeff Stoutland and Stoutland University another weapon is a welcomed idea if Isaac Seumalo and the Eagles part ways.
