The Eagles will once again prove that they’re the NFC’s best team. The participants of the NFC and AFC Championship Games are in our elite tier.

As lazy as this may seem, we can’t argue the San Francisco 49ers, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Kansas City Chiefs off of our lists of the top four NFL teams. If you have an argument for why they should be, we’d love to hear it.

4. San Francisco 49ers

We trust Kyle Shanahan, and you should too. It feels like it doesn’t matter who the Niners start at quarterback, and though this doesn’t get mentioned often, this organization seems to be a pipeline for brilliant defensive coordinators/coaches in waiting

3. Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow is the truth. Had the ball bounced a different way on a couple of occasions, we would have been talking about an Eagles/Bengals Super Bowl matchup. Cincy will be back in 2023.

2. Philadelphia Eagles

The Birds didn’t win the NFC for no reason, and even though they’re going to lose starters, they return enough of their core to be in the Super Bowl discussion again.

1. Kansas City Chiefs

We thought the Kansas City Chiefs were ripe for the taking, and somehow, they won the Super Bowl. Regardless of who they lose or what transpires, as long as they have Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes, they’ll be in the championship conversation.
