The Eagles may face a different Cardinals team than they saw in 2022.

The Arizona Cardinals saw their fair share of changes this offseason. They hired Monti Ossenfort as their new general manager. They then hired former Birds defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon to fill the head coaching vacancy left by Kliff Kingsbury.

J.G. took former Eagles linebackers coach Nick Rallis with him to Glendale to serve as his defensive coordinator. Arizona has a lot of questions about its roster that need to be answered ahead of the upcoming season. Some of which involve the quarterback position.

Who will start with Kyler Murray still recovering from ACL surgery? Will they just give the keys to Colt McCoy again this season? Will Gannon and Murray coexist? Kyler seemed to have a problem coexisting with Kliff Kingsbury.

There are also depth issues at running back. James Conner has become more of a goal-line rusher. He also has an extensive injury history. Corey Clement is behind Conner on the depth chart at running back, but he had limited touches last season.

That brings us to the wide receiver position. The Cards’ top receiving threat DeAndre Hopkins is allegedly being shopped as trade bait. Marquise Brown, Rondale Moore, and the recently added Zach Pascal are behind him on the depth chart. One of the more solid pieces on the team is former Eagles tight end, Zach Ertz. He has been a preferred target in the receiving game with healthy, but at 32 years old, you have to ask if regression will soon come.
