60. . . . Justin Jefferson. 18. player

The Eagles missed out on an All-Pro wide receiver, and the Vikings brass couldn’t have been any happier.

It didn’t take long for Eagles fans to voice their disapproval of the Jalen Reagor selection. The Minnesota Vikings couldn’t have been happier. They made matters worse by breaking a few hearts with the very next selection. LSU wide receiver Justin Jefferson was Minnesota’s choice at 22

Jefferson promised that every team that ignored him would regret the decision. The Vikings brass had a good laugh at Philly’s blunder.

What did Philadelphia miss out on by ignoring Jefferson? Well, try this on for size. His first three seasons have all resulted in more than 1,500 receiving yards and an average of 14.9 yards per catch.

Justin has hauled in 324 receptions for 4,825 yards with 25 touchdowns in his first three years in the NFL. During the 2022-2023 regular season, he enjoyed nine games where he eclipsed 100 yards receiving. He enjoyed an 11-reception, 223-yard performance in Week 14 versus the Detroit Lions.

He also led the league in receiving last year with 1,809 yards and that would help him earn the Associated Press’s Offensive Player of the Year Award. He’s also a three-time Pro Bowler that earned Second-Team All-Pro nods during his first two seasons.

The irony in all of this is Jalen Reagor and Justin Jefferson are now teammates. Philly traded Reagor to Minnesota in August of 2022. You have to admit that’s funny.
