Yes, Tee Higgins was still available when the Eagles selected Jalen Reagor as the 21st pick in 2020’s NFL Draft.

Justin Jefferson wasn’t the only future 1,000-yard wide receiver the Birds decided to pass on in 2020. Tee Higgins was also still on the board when Philadelphia chose Reagor.

This Tiger didn’t have to change too many stripes as Higgins was the first player taken in the second round of the 2020 draft. The Cincinnati Bengals took the former Clemson star 33rd overall.

During his rookie season, Tee just missed hitting the 1,000-yard mark, but he left little to complain about. He finished with 67 receptions for 908 yards with six touchdowns.

The 215-pound wideout would elevate his game to another level during the next two seasons with the help of a healthy Joe Burrow and with another dynamic wide receiver, Ja’Marr Chase playing alongside him.

Higgins amassed 2,120 receiving yards with 13 touchdowns over the 2021 and 2022 NFL seasons. He would also average 14.3 yards per catch during that time.

Tee has eclipsed the 100-yard plateau eight times during the regular season since 2020. One of his best games came versus the Baltimore Ravens in 2021. He caught 12 receptions for 194 yards with two touchdowns in a 41-21 win. He’s a special talent who figures to impress again in a contract season.
