player. 54. . . . Marlon Tuipulotu, defensive tackle. 95

The Eagles love both Marlon Tuipulotu and Josh Sills, but they may fall victim to the numbers game.

We have counted the Eagles’ defensive tackles on our fingers and toes, and each time we mentally try to piece a depth chart together, the numbers game takes over and Marlon Tuipulotu gets left off of the 53-man roster.

Perhaps disagreement comes in the fact that one can make the argument that Philly will field 20 or so defensive tackles as they did towards the middle of the season, but we know Fletcher Cox, Jordan Davis, Jalen Carter, Milton Williams, and Kentavius Street have a high chance of making this roster. Where does that leave Tuipulotu and Moro Ojomo? Well, we’re going to just have to wait and see, won’t we?

. . Josh Sills, guard. 61. player. 54.

Basic math isn’t the only thing working against Josh Sills. There’s that legal issue as well. Now, please understand something. We’re not here to presume guilt or innocence or comment on something of which we know very little, but we all know that doesn’t help his chances.

Then, there’s the addition of Tyler Steen in the NFL Draft. That might push him further down the depth chart. Keep in mind the fact that arguments can be made that the Eagle may start Cam Jurgens at right guard, and they may like Brett Toth, Sua Opeta, and Tyrese Robinson more.
