No one places their players in better positions to achieve their personal goals than the Philadelphia Eagles.

Knowing this coaching staff and the way it pays attention to the individual success of its players, something tells us that, had Dallas Goedert been within striking distance of the 1,000-yard receiving plateau, his offensive coaches would have schemed up a few imaginative ways for him to get the ball.

Remember those extra minutes of game time to allow DeVonta Smith the opportunity to earn the rookie receiving yards record? Remember those early appearances in meaningless games to keep Jason Kelce’s streak of consecutive games started alive? Think about that game versus the Tennessee Titans and the way A.J. Brown was featured.

As stated, had it not been for a shoulder injury that forced Dallas to miss multiple games last season, he would have found his way to the 1,000-yard plateau. In 2023, he’ll again be one of the focal points of the Eagles’ offensive attack. He hasn’t completed a full season since his rookie campaign in 2018, but with the added weapons in the backfield and with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith as teammates, we expect a different outcome. Expect a career year by Goedert.

Fans should believe in him. We know the Eagles do as well. They wouldn’t have traded Zach Ertz if that hadn’t been the case.
