Examine all of the game’s best tight ends, and you’ll see a little of Dallas Goedert’s game in all of them.

It’s officially time that we place Dallas Goedert in the conversation of being one of the elite players at his position. Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, and George Kittle are already there. Zach Ertz used to be in the conversation as well, and with all due respect to everyone mentioned, Goedert has all of the tools to be just as good as those guys.

Tale some time, Create your list of the top five TEs in the NFL, You’ll find that Goedert’s skill set is comparable to them all. Adding a  1,000-yard receiving season would go a long way in adding statistical evidence to what Eagles fans have known forever.

Kittle has two 1,000-yard receiving seasons in his career, and Andrews has one. Kelce is the owner of seven. The effort has always been there for the former Jackrabbit. D.G. owns a higher yards-per-reception average (13.8) than any of the aforementioned players.

Sure hands will help him continue in his climb to the next level. So will his ability as a blocker and the way he creates extra yardage after contact.  It’s commonplace to find good tight ends who aren’t the most accomplished blockers. You’ll never hear that evaluation of Dallas.

We know about his talent. We know about his production. Don’t be shocked when Dallas is mentioned in the same breath as George Kittle and they share an equal amount of 1K seasons. We’ll beat the drum for Goedert in the meantime. He’ll reward our confidence with his play on the field. That you can be certain of.
