Good and bad came from this season.

While the 2025 Philadelphia Eagles season was a disappointment, there is still plenty to be proud of with this football team.

The Eagles still finished the season with an 11-6 record and won the NFC East for the second straight season, the first team to do that in 20 years. Philly ended the year with an early NFC Wild Card exit, losing to the San Francisco 49ers.

Changes will be coming in the offseason with the bad of the team, but there is still a lot of good that came from the season that the fan base can be proud of.

Winner: Jalyx Hunt, EDGE

There was a lot of concern about the edge rushers on the Eagles to begin the season, but only one was consistently good from start to finish: Jalyx Hunt. He finished with a team-high 24 quarterback hits, 52 tackles, nine tackles for loss, a team-high 6.5 sacks, also a team-high three interceptions, three pass deflections, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one interception returned for a touchdown. Hunt did everything for this defense and has a chance to be a maga star in this NFL if he keeps trending in the right direction.

Loser: Saquon Barkley, RB

It's unfortunate to put him in the loser category, as Saquon Barkley was set up for failure after rushing for 2,005 yards in 2024, but it was not a great season for him overall. He did still have over 1,000 rushing yards with 1,140 and seven touchdowns, but not to the standard everyone had set for him. Offensive line issues were a major factor in this drop, and the hope is that Barkley can bounce back after the line has an offseason to heal.

Winner: Jordan Davis, DT

Davis lost 26 pounds in the offseason and found a whole new chapter of his NFL career in 2025, becoming elite. He finished with 72 tackles, nine tackles for loss, six quarterback hits, six pass deflections, 4.5 sacks, and blocked a field goal that he also returned for a touchdown. It was the career season Davis needed as he went from having an uncertain future in Philadelphia to now needing a contract extension soon enough.

Loser: Nick Sirianni, Head Coach

From some rough late-game decisions to the decision to promote Kevin Patullo to offensive coordinator, Nick Sirianni did not have his best season as a head coach. His offense struggled in the second halves of games, and Sirianni continuously made odd decisions that either cost his team wins or almost did. It's going to be a long offseason for Sirianni, who might end up right back on the hot seat, similar to the start of the 2024 season.

Winners: Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, CBs

It was Year 2 for Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean in the secondary, with many wondering how they would follow it up. Well, with Mitchell's 17 pass deflections and under 46% completion percentage allowed, along with DeJean's 16 pass deflections, two interceptions, and 93 tackles, Eagles fans got All-Pro selections for both guys. That 2024 NFL Draft continues to be a massive home run for Philly as they have two of the best corners in the game.

Loser: Kevin Patullo, Offensive Coordinator

Unfortunately, there might not be a bigger loser from the Eagles' 2025 campaign than Kevin Patullo, who struggled in his first and only season as offensive coordinator. Plagued by horrible second-half performances, the Eagles' offense finished in the bottom 15 in all major offensive statistical categories, including passing, rushing, total offense, and points. Patullo was removed as offensive coordinator at the end of the season for multiple reasons, as it had to happen.
