Philadelphia Eagles mandatory OTAs are done, and players are off for the next month, as now the conversations for 2026 begin.
OTAs did give fans a glimpse of what could be a very good 2026 season for the team, despite the kinks that the offense clearly has to fix. The defense, though, looked great, making plays every day.
Now that OTAs are done, fans can examine who did themselves a huge favor with good performances there. Here's a look at five Eagles whose stocks went up after a solid three weeks of work.
Riq Woolen, CB
No one's stock rose higher than Woolen's after an incredible first OTAs with the Eagles. Multiple pass deflections, interceptions, and tight coverages proved that he can roll with the top guys in Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean. What a nice change of pace for the Eagles after struggling to find a CB2 last year between Adoree' Jackson and Kelee Ringo, but now fans know definitively that Woolen is the man.
E.J. Jenkins, TE
Guys like Eli Stowers and Grant Calcaterra did not do themselves any favors at OTAs, but Jenkins made the most of his reps with the starters. Jenkins had some highlight plays that were reported on by Eagles reporters, giving him an advantage he needs going into training camp. It may still be a tough road for Jenkins to make the 53-man roster, but he might do well enough to get the attention of another NFL team.
Dontayvion Wicks, WR
Anytime an All-Pro like Mitchell takes the time to call a receiver "underrated", that might be a clear sign that there is something special brewing in Philly. Wicks had a solid OTAs and proved that he can at least help in filling in on the outside for A.J. Brown after being traded. For the last three years, Wicks has been lost in the shuffle with the Green Bay Packers, but he might finally have a shot to shine in Sean Mannion's offense.
Markel Bell, OT
Bell was able to get more reps than expected at OTAs, with Lane Johnson sitting out as Bell got to play with the first-team offensive line at right tackle and filled in at backup left tackle. Showing off that kind of versatility is important, but also showing that he can play both well is even better. The Eagles might have something there with Bell, as he might be more ready than fans expected.

Jeremiah Trotter Jr., LB
Once thought of as just a special teams machine, Trotter proved at OTAs once again that the Eagles need to start playing him more on defense. He picked up Jalen Hurts last week and was on the daily making plays at the linebacker position. Philly can't keep ignoring the fact that Trotter can play just like his old man and should at least be heavily rotated in there with Jihaad Campbell.
