Who's the greatest coach in NFL history? The question alone fosters debate. Some say it's Bill Belichick. Historians cast their votes for Vince Lombardi. After all, his name is on the trophy the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs will play for and every other competing Super Bowl team that comes afterward.

We say Bill Walsh doesn't get enough credit. How do you leave him out? His innovation helped change the game. You even see remnants of his scheme in the offenses of today, an offense Andy Reid has run in both Philly and Kansas City.

No die-hard fan must be told that Reid connects the Eagles and Chiefs organizations. Reid's name was why Birds fans said ahead of Super Bowl LIX that we can't lose this game. And, even though we never saw Carson Wentz take the field, he was also a part of that K.C. roster. We walked in saying he could get all of the smoke too!

Ladies and gentlemen, the Birds are now two-time Super Bowl champions. They won three NFL Championships before the Super Bowl era, and they defeated three coaching legends to get there.

The Eagles have now beaten Vince Lombardi, Bill Belichick, and Andy Reid to win their last three championships.

So, back to that previous question. Who's the greatest coach in NFL history? We can all agree that Vince Lombardi. Bill Belichick, and Andy Reid all have significant reasons to have their names mentioned.

They're all definitely flirting with being among the top five. Here's something you may not have noticed. They are all a part of the Eagles' story, a championship trifecta if you will.

The Philadelphia Eagles are the only team to beat Vince Lombardi in a postseason game, the 1960 NFL Championship. Philly's first Super Bowl win came with a victory over Bill Belichick's New England Patriots, perhaps the greatest dynasty in the sport's history.

And here's the best part. They ended Kansas City's reign of terror and all hope the Chiefs had of a Super Bowl three-peat. Come to think about it, they've thrown wrenches in two other three-peats. We just didn't realize that's what was happening at the time.

Wow! This is great. revenge is sweet as they say. Philly hung an 'L' around Andy Reid's neck on football's biggest stage.

That makes them the only franchise to have beaten Lombardi, Belichick, and Reid to win it all. You have to admit that's pretty doggone cool.
