The mock drafts are starting to slow down among NFL Draft experts, as the latest ones are coming in for Philadelphia Eagles fans to read with less than a week until one of the league's biggest events.
Eagles general manager Howie Roseman is leaving a lot of mystery into what is going to happen in this draft as there are multiple directions the team could do with needs at edge rusher, offensive tackle, wide receiver, tight end, and safety. FanSided's Sayre Bedinger shared his seven-round mock draft that has the Eagles first taking Arizona State offensive tackle Max Iheanachor with the 23rd overall pick.
"The Eagles would probably love to have Kadyn Proctor or Blake Miller in an ideal world, so maybe they'll trade up for one of those guys. Max Iheanachor is another great option at right tackle in this class who is still newer to football compared to some of his other 1st-round peers. There might be more of a learning curve, but he can be the heir apparent to Lane Johnson in Philly."
Eagles select Max Iheanachor with first pick of seven-round mock draft
The Iheanachor selection would not surprise a soul in Philly, as the Eagles are expected to go offensive line with the hopes of finding the successor to Lane Johnson at right tackle. There is a chance the Eagles could trade up for a wide receiver, but Roseman loves going offensive or defensive line in the first round, so this would be a solid option.
Here is how Bedinger envisions the rest of the draft going for the Eagles:
- Round 2, Pick 54: De’Zhaun Stribling, WR, Ole Miss
- Round 3, Pick 68: Romello Height, EDGE, Texas Tech
- Round 3, Pick 98: Jalon Kilgore, SAF, South Carolina
- Round 4, Pick 114: Bryce Lance, WR, North Dakota State
- Round 4, Pick 137: Eli Raridon, TE, Notre Dame
- Round 5, Pick 178: Parker Brailsford, OL, Alabama
- Round 6, Pick 197: Andre Fuller, CB, Toledo
Stribling has been getting a ton of buzz, and the Eagles met with him already, so this can be a realistic option for the Eagles in the second round. Height is an underrated edge rusher who could end up being a top guy for the Eagles in a year or two with a bit of time to develop under defensive coordinator Vic Fangio.
Every selection that Bedinger made would address a need the Eagles have. The best part about it? He doesn't have Philly get a quarterback when they don't need to, despite some experts pushing for a Ty Simpson selection.

This draft haul would be a great one for the Eagles and it's one the fan base hopes will happen.
