The Philadelphia Eagles have officially wrapped up training camp and are awaiting their first preseason game, which other teams would have liked to be over already.
Eagles fans have been following what's happening across the NFL at other teams' camps. New England Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown seems to be doing well, and former Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo seems to be struggling again with the Miami Dolphins as their passing game coordinator.
What's going on with the Washington Commanders, though, might alarm fans, but it could be an interesting situation for Philly to monitor. With the overwhelming number of injuries at camp, Washington could be in serious trouble entering their Week 1 showdown against the Eagles.
Eagles fans are sitting back and watching the Commanders struggle to close out camp
The Athletic Commanders reporter Nicki Jhabvala shared a report from the latest team training camp joint practice with the Baltimore Ravens. Let's just say things did not go well for Washington.
"This is the worst I’ve ever seen the Commanders’ offense in years. Inoperable offensive line."
Washington's offensive line is going through several injuries and has had to change the lineup multiple times. Key injuries include left tackle Laremy Tunsil, Nick Allegretti, and Sam Cosmi.
This presents an interesting situation for the Eagles, whose biggest strength is what they do up front. Guys like Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Moro Ojomo, Jalyx Hunt, and Nolan Smith Jr. could be in for massive days with tackles for loss and sacks in Week 1 when Philly faces the Commanders.
Of course, it's never right to celebrate injuries, which is a rough thing to go through at camp. This is more about the Commanders dropping the ball on offensive line depth and now being in trouble.
The Eagles have not had this problem at camp at all. Markel Bell, Willie Lampkin, Drew Kendall, and Jake Majors have delivered standout performances that leave the Eagles' offensive line's future in good shape.
If it makes the Commanders fans feel any better, Jonathan Greenard may not be ready for Week 1 with the pectoral injury he suffered right before training camp. They will have to find out about Hunt, though, which could be a problem for Washington's banged-up offensive line.

While it's never right to assume a win is coming because it is the NFC East, the Eagles might feel pretty good entering that season opener against the Commanders.
