That's one way to do it.

When teams are desperate to find a spark, they are willing to go the extra mile to fix things.

The Philadelphia Eagles are currently 8-4 and sitting atop the NFC East. They did have a lead in the NFC two weeks ago, but losses to the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears in back-to-back weeks has forced them into the number three slot in the conference's playoff picture.

In hopes of bringing a calmer, nicer energy to the locker room, the Eagles decided to add a new element. It's called the "positivity rabbit" because players told the media they are not sad and want positive energy in the locker room.

What to make of the new bunny in Eagles' locker room

This is an article that most Eagles fans did not have on their bingo cards to read in their lifetime, but here we are. The Eagles should get credit for trying to get the energy back in the locker room, even if it makes some people laugh; it at least gets them laughing and happy.

Eagles fans are trying to read too much into the move and see what it means for the team, whether it's childish or outlandish. It really isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things, as it's just a fun thing to do.

Everyone has to remember that this team is under an insane amount of pressure as the defending Super Bowl champions, and with HBO Hard Knocks cameras following them around for the close of the season. There is a massive spotlight on them, so adding something fun to the locker room is more than just bringing new energy to the culture.

There's going to be judgment and everyone making fun of them, but if it ends up sparking a run for the postseason and the Super Bowl, the jokes are going to fall short, and every team will be following suit.
