Over the course of the first two days at New England Patriots training camp, former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown has not made the best first impression since his trade to the team.
On the first day, he did not have a catch with only one target. Brown then showed in a video that he struggled to get separation against cornerback Christian Gonzalez, and the pass fell incomplete.
Former Eagles player Emmanuel Acho spoke on his "Speakeasy" show, warning Philly fans to watch what Brown was doing. Acho got a bit dramatic with it, though.
"Eagles fans, I'm begging you, stop stalking your ex. Stop stalking A.J. Brown. Mute his Instagram stories, block him if you have to. Stop stalking your ex. A.J. Brown is running a back shoulder, bruh, and you want him to separate on Christian Gonzalez getting pressed? How you finna separate on that? Like, they're throwing a back shoulder. What you want him to do? You, you're, you're stalking your ex, seeing that he's in a new relationship, and you're like, I told you she ugly. I told you she put on some weight. I told you she don't even look good."
Should Eagles fans track what A.J. Brown is doing?
Why is it so bad to track how a former player is doing? It's pretty common for the media to see how Brown is doing, and since he was such a big figure in Philly, the Eagles have every right to see how he's doing.
Over the last four years, Brown went for over 5,000 yards and made two Pro Bowls. He helped the Eagles reach two Super Bowls, winning one. Those are things Eagles fans should be grateful for.
Remember, Brown is the one who complained about being in Philly, so it's more about curiosity to see how he is liking life. The old saying, "the grass isn't always greener on the other side," could be applied here with Brown in New England.
Sure, things weren't smooth in Philly for Brown, and he was right in a lot of his complaints about the Eagles. Still, the Eagles were winning a lot of games, which isn't happening everywhere else.
Acho wanted the Eagles fans to focus on who is in the building now and be excited about the future.
"Look forward to what you got. Makai Lemon, Hollywood Brown, Wicks. Stop worrying about what A.J. Brown out there doing."
"You got a great thing going with Makai. You got a great thing going with Jalen Hurts. He's been all smiles all offseason. Let A.J. Brown go do his thing. Let him go eat."

The future is no doubt bright in Philly with all that talent, but there is also a level of interest in seeing how Brown does in his first year with the Patriots. Eagles fans have every right to watch how he does and let New England figure out what Philly had to learn the hard way about him throughout the years.
