Many Philadelphia Eagles fans are still feeling a bit uneasy about new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion, given all the changes to the coaching staff.
Despite offering him a role on the staff, offensive line coach and run game coordinator Jeff Stoutland is leaving after 13 years, and it appears many others are leaving for unknown reasons. The offensive staff is undergoing a complete overhaul with new coaches, leaving some uncertainty about the franchise's future.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love helped calm the anxiety of many in Philly as he spoke with Kay Adams on her Up & Adams show, where she asked the signal caller about Mannion. Love had some high praise for his former quarterbacks coach.
"They're getting a very smart coach. Sean played a long time in the league, so he's got that expertise as a quarterback."

Mannion did great work as the Packers' quarterbacks coach in his only season in the role last year. Love had his most productive season, throwing only six interceptions in 15 games, the fewest of his career. Even the backup quarterback, Malik Willis, had a great season, completing 85% of his passes and playing in four games to relieve Love.
A lot of people have been praising Mannion around the NFL for being a smart coach who knows what he is doing. Many have credited Mannion with being great at learning the playbook and knowing exactly what to do when he is on the field.
Eagles fans hope to take advantage of the influence Mannion has had around him throughout his playing and coaching career. He has worked with some great coaches, including Sean McVay and Matt LaFleur.

Mannion seems to be firmly in command of the offense and is ready to get this unit where it needs to be. While this is a scary thought with the unknown right there, it's at least good to know the Eagles acknowledged the offense's shortcomings and are doing whatever it takes to never repeat what happened in 2025.
