While Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has been known for striking deals in the first round of the NFL Draft, nothing might change on that front this year.

ESPN Draft expert Jordan Reid shared that he is hearing the Eagles could move up from the 23rd pick in the first round. The position they might be moving up for, though, could make things very interesting in the draft.

"Circle the Eagles as a team that could get aggressive in trading up for a receiver. Jordyn Tyson (Arizona State) is a player to watch, as he could still be on the board in the Nos. 17-20 range. GM Howie Roseman is notorious for drafting replacements for veterans a year in advance."

Would Howie Roseman trade up for a wide receiver in the draft?

It's not entirely uncommon for the Eagles to pick a wide receiver in the NFL Draft or even trade up for one. Over the last 10 years, Roseman has selected Jalen Reagor and DeVonta Smith in the opening round. Roseman even traded up with the Dallas Cowboys to go get Smith.

Overall, in Roseman's career, he has often moved up in the draft. He did it with Jalen Carter just a few years ago, and last year, the Eagles traded up for linebacker Jihaad Campbell. Roseman has traded up seven times in his career as the Eagles' general manager.

Tyson has been mentioned as a prospect with a strong chance of dropping in the draft. Roseman loves players who are like that who drop because of off-the-field issues or injuries, as it has been the best way for him to build the roster.

Philly needs a wide receiver with all the A.J. Brown trade talks happening in the last few months. If the Eagles trade up for a receiver like Tyson, then that would pretty much confirm that Brown will be on the move.

The Eagles fan base shouldn't be surprised if Roseman trades up, but to go up for a receiver would be a fascinating move that will no doubt create headlines.
