The Philadelphia Eagles are still trying to figure out how they are going to handle the 23rd overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
They have a lot of needs with the roster that includes safety, offensive lineman, wide receiver, and edge rusher. Philly is making sure to look at every option they have in the draft and there might be one that fans want, but aren't really sure if they are able to get him.
Eagles reporter James Simone was told by other reports that the Eagles have hosted Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq on a 30-visit. Sadiq caught 51 passes for 560 yards and eight touchdowns last season with the Ducks.
The Eagles have hosted a visit with Kenyon Sadiq
This is the prospect every Eagles fan wants since they saw him at the NFL Combine. He ran a 4.39 40-yard dash, a 1.54-second 10-yard split, a vertical jump with 43.50", and a broad jump with 11'1'.
There's no doubt that Sadiq is a freakish athlete who can play tight end and wide receiver with his pass-catching abilities, but he is an underrated blocker as well. He's got all the tools to be an offensive weapon in the NFL in 2026.
The problem is that the Eagles are already loaded at tight end with Dallas Goedert re-signed, and the depth is there for Philly. They already have Grant Calcaterra, Stone Smartt, Johnny Mundt, and Cameron Latu at the position.
Sadiq would no doubt be the team's future tight end and could be a difference-maker in the offense. He would make the team with ease and be the long-time starter for a year in Philly.

Right now, Sadiq is projected to be a top-15 pick, so if the Eagles are lucky and see him drop to 23, they shouldn't hesitate and draft him.
