Some prospects are just built a certain way that can easily get all 32 NFL teams excited to select them, and the Philadelphia Eagles have their eyes on a guy who could be that difference maker.
Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor is projected to be a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, and his 6-foot-7, 366-pound frame will certainly catch a lot of attention. Proctor will be watched by everyone over the next two months to see if he is ready to truly be one of the top offensive linemen picked in the draft.
While at the NFL Combine, Proctor confirmed with reporters that the Eagles have met with him and “have expressed a lot of interest" in the lineman. He is focused on getting his weight down to 355 pounds and wants to play tackle, but is willing to play inside if needed.

Could Kadyn Proctor be a potential replacement for Lane Johnson?
Pro Football Focus had Proctor as one of the top graded tackles in the nation, as he got an 85.4 overall grade, ranking him ninth out of 631 tackles in the nation. On 527 pass blocking snaps, he allowed just 19 total pressures, four quarterback hits, and two sacks. He was named a consensus All-American and first-team All-SEC selection in 2025.
His size itself is what has every NFL team excited to see him on the field as he is one of the biggest lineman in the draft class. He is an absolute bully on the line, and if he can shed some weight, he might end up being more athletic, as he can already move well for a guy of his size.
The Eagles are very much in the market for an offensive tackle, as Lane Johnson came close to retiring in the offseason, and so did starting left guard Landon Dickerson. Philly needs depth on the line and young guys who could start now, but don't have to be rushed to start

Proctor should not be ignored, as he is a guy who could very much drop to the Eagles. If he does, Philly should go after him and solidify their right tackle position for when Johnson takes over.
