With too many questions about what is going to happen with A.J. Brown, the Philadelphia Eagles are most likely going to address their wide receiver position in the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Eagles are projected to either go wide receiver, edge rusher, or offensive tackle in the first round, with Indiana receiver Omar Cooper Jr. being the main option in Round 1 for Philly. There might be another option they can pick on Day 2 if they want to wait on getting a pass catcher.

Louisville wide receiver Chris Bell posted on his Instagram a photo of the Eagles' team facilities, indicating his 30 visit happened there. Last season with the Cardinals, Bell caught 72 passes for 917 yards and six touchdowns.

Bell has been compared to Brown for having similar traits, which should be music to Eagles fans' ears. The 6-foot-2 wide receiver can do all the things that Brown can with his speed and strong hands to go up and make any catch.

Philly has DeVonta Smith as the number one receiver and added Marquise "Hollywood" Brown and Elijah Moore as one-year rentals. The Eagles will also look at young receivers Darius Cooper and Johnny Wilson to compete for starting time.

Everything at receiver depends on what happens with A.J. Brown and when he could be traded, but something has to happen to ensure that star quarterback Jalen Hurts has the weapons he needs. Hurts has good receivers around him and will have tight end Dallas Goedert back to help in the passing game under new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion.

Bell would make a great addition to the team if they need a replacement for Brown. The Eagles may not use a first-round pick on a receiver, but they would love to at least have someone who plays similarly to Brown in there, and Bell would fit that job role well.
