There are expectations that the Philadelphia Eagles are going to be looking at selecting an offensive lineman in the 2026 NFL Draft, and they got to see most of those guys work out in front of scouts at the 2026 NFL Combine.
One of the top names that has been attached to the Eagles on mock drafts is Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor. Philly brass met with Proctor at the combine and were eager to see how he would perform in the drills and workouts, and he did not disappoint.
Keeping in mind that Proctor weighs over 350 pounds and stands at 6-foot-7, he had an impressive 32.5-inch vertical, showing off the rare athleticism in a man of his size. He was incredibly smooth in drills and had a burst despite not being the fastest guy there, but he was quick to change direction, which is a big thing to see.
Eagles should be excited about Kadyn Proctor as a potential first-round pick
Last season at Alabama, Proctor was one of the top-graded offensive tackles in the nation by Pro Football Focus, posting an 85.4 overall grade, ranking ninth out of 631 offensive tackles. He allowed 19 total pressures, four quarterback hits, and two sacks in 527 pass blocking snaps as he went on to be a consensus All-American and first-team All-SEC selection.
The Eagles are looking for someone who could replace Lane Johnson at right tackle in the future or even Landon Dickerson at left guard if his injuries continue to be a problem after both almost retired this offseason. Proctor would be in a great spot in Philly to sit behind some of the best offensive linemen in the NFL and take the year to learn before filling in as a starter in 2027.

Proctor had a great workout and still has one more chance to do even better at his Alabama Pro Day. Philly might not need that day to know that this guy could be the next great Eagles offensive lineman.
