They are on the hot seat.

There were some great selections made by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2026 NFL Draft, but not everyone on the team would feel the same way.

Philly made eight selections with the first five going to the offensive side of the ball, and all of the seventh round being defensive picks. It was clear that the Eagles are working to get younger and prepare for some of the older players to either retire or move on from the team in free agency/trade.

One thing was made very clear, though: a lot of loud messages were sent by the Eagles franchise to current players on the roster to step up or be gone. Which four players got those messages sent on draft weekend?

Grant Calcaterra, TE

The Eagles selected Vanderbilt tight end Eli Stowers in the second round, leaving Calcaterra's future with the team in question. Calcaterra faced a ton of criticism from the fan base with his struggles with blocking. It's a crowded tight end room of eight, so some veterans are not going to make the team with Calcaterra being a candidate.

Elijah Moore, WR

Moore was brought in as the veteran presence, with A.J. Brown most likely to be traded by the team. The problem is that the Eagles also added Marquise "Hollywood" Brown, Dontayvion Wicks, and first-round pick Makai Lemon to the team. It just feels like with those three, plus Johnny Wilson and Darius Cooper, that Moore might end up being a training camp cut casualty at the end of the day.

Myles Hinton, OT

Philly selected Miami offensive tackle Markel Bell in the third round, leaving a lot of their offensive tackles from last year in question. Cameron Williams could arguably be on this list as well, but Hinton will get the edge since he missed all of last season with an injury. Bell should earn a roster spot, which might leave Hinton in danger if he doesn't play well in preseason.

Joe Tryon-Shoyinka, EDGE

Tryon-Shoyinka hasn't even taken a snap, and it feels like he might not be on the roster for very long. The Eagles selected Keyshawn James-Newby in the seventh round, but he might be a better edge rusher than people think and could easily make the roster if he does well on special teams. That might leave Tryon-Shoyinka in an awkward position on the team, where if he doesn't step up on special teams or defense, he won't last long.
