Most Philadelphia Eagles fans would agree that the team is not having a horrible offseason, but it has not been the best one either.
The Eagles have made some nice signings with cornerback Riq Woolen and wide receiver Marquise "Hollywood" Brown dominating the headlines. What's been more worrisome is the number of players Philly has lost along the way, with Jaelan Phillips, Reed Blankenship, and Nakobe Dean.
CBS Sports' Pete Prisco released his latest NFL power rankings, noting some movement after two weeks of free agency were in the books. Eagles fans should look away as Prisco had them drop from ninth to outside the top 10 at 11.
"They suffered a few hits in free agency, most notably edge rusher Jaelen Phillips. Will they trade receiver A.J. Brown? Should they?"
Are the Eagles really not a top 10 team in the NFL?
It's a bit too early for everyone to jump off the bandwagon of the Eagles, as they still have a ton of talent on the roster. Not to mention Eagles general manager Howie Roseman always shines in the NFL Draft with great selections, so he should be given the benefit of the doubt.
For all the players who have departed Philly, there are replacements for them. Phillips is replaced by Nolan Smith and Jalyx Hunt, with one more year of experience, and they are ready to take a massive step, Blankenship's replacement is somewhere in the 2026 NFL Draft, where the safety depth is so deep to the point that NFL Network draft expert Daniel Jeremiah has stated that teams can wait until the fourth round to find a starter there, and Dean will be replaced by Jihaad Campbell with ease.

The Eagles are going to be just find and they have the draft to get even better. They are more than deserving of a spot in the top 10, but that will change once the league sees what Roseman does over the next few months.
