The 2026 NFL Draft is drawing closer for the Philadelphia Eagles, as there is a ton of buzz and speculation surrounding the 23rd overall pick.

Philly could go in a variety of directions as they figure out which position to fill first. They have to target wide receiver, offensive line, tight end, edge rusher, and safety in the draft.

It's going to be a difficult decision for the team, but it's even more difficult to figure out which rumors or buzz are real and which are fake. Let's take a look at three big draft prospects attached to the Eagles and use the smoke meter below to figure out which ones the fan base should buy into.

Smoke Meter (1–10)

  • 1 – Spark
  • 2 – Flicker
  • 3 – Small flame
  • 4 – Steady burn
  • 5 – Heating up
  • 6 – Gaining heat
  • 7 – Hot
  • 8 – Very hot
  • 9 – Blazing
  • 10 – Full blaze

Kadyn Proctor, OT (Alabama) - 9

The Eagles desperately need help on the offensive line after losing Brett Toth and Matt Pryor from the bench. They also need to make sure they can find the future successor to Lane Johnson at right tackle, so, of all the positions of need, offensive line is most likely to be the first-round pick.

Proctor feels like a guy the Eagles would love to have with his size and abilities on the line. He's already been in for a visit with the team and has been mocked multiple times, but the new buzz is that teams might trade up for Proctor starting at pick 11. Don't be surprised if the Eagles look at moving up to try to get him.

Jordyn Tyson, WR (Arizona State) - 5

Tyson's recent workout really got everyone bought back into his stock and helped get him back into the conversation for a top-15 selection. The Eagles were among those teams at his workout and could potentially trade up for him since they are looking to reload the wide receiver room with A.J. Brown pretty much out the door in a trade soon.

With Dontayvion Wicks' recent trade to Philly, though, a move up in the first round seems unlikely for Tyson. The Eagles will take a receiver at some point, but might hold off until the second or third round to address it.

Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, S (Toledo) - 2

Safety is a big problem for the Eagles after Reed Blankenship's departure in free agency, as they currently have Andrew Mukuba and Marcus Epps slated as starters. There are some good talents at safety, with Toledo's Emmanuel McNeil-Warren being a name mocked as a potential Eagles pick.

With so many needs on the roster, one position is going to be left behind in the 2026 NFL Draft. Safety feels like that's the one not going to get attention, so while McNeil-Warren would be great to have in the first round, the Eagles might prefer to focus on offense first.
