Every Eagles player would like to produce a better showing during the second preseason game, even if they played well during the first, but here are ten guys who really need better outings.

Following rough outings, Marcus Mariota and Kennedy Brooks need to redeem themselves.

QB2 Marcus Mariota will make the Eagles' 53-man roster. That has been known for a while. Kennedy Brooks isn't going to make the roster. That has been known for a while too. Don't give up on the latter yet. As the saying goes, it ain't over 'til it's over'.

Marcus Mariota's first preseason game was a microcosm of most of his career. We know he can make things happen with his legs when he takes off. His arm leaves reason to question him, but if we were to make long stories short, here's what we would say.

A six-year veteran needs to make progressions and deliver the ball more impressively... especially a former starter playing versus backup players in the preseason.

3. Kennedy Brooks, running back

Kennedy Brooks hasn't looked like an NFL player. He didn't look like one last year. He most certainly didn't look like one during the first preseason game, and his fumble put him behind the eight ball to some degree.

On a depth chart that features six running backs, he's without question the low man on the totem pole. He's auditioning for a spot on the practice squad or an opportunity with another NFL franchise, but truthfully, he hasn't earned either.
