2 Reasonable expectations, one bold prediction for Eagles QB Jalen Hurts during the 2023 NFL season

After nearly being named the NFL'sMVP last season, Jalen Hurts will take another step forward by accomplishing three things for the Eagles in 2023.

Jalen Hurts has always been careful with the football, but the Eagles' QB1 will produce even fewer turnovers this year than he had the year prior.

Jalen Hurts protected the football like Spider-Man protects his neighborhood in New York City, but that doesn't mean occasional danger didn't arise. The first half of the season was better than the second when Hurts had the majority of his turnovers from Week 8 forward. The starting quarterback finished the season with six interceptions and nine fumbles on the campaign.

Interestingly enough, Hurts has fumbled the ball nine times in three consecutive seasons, but after putting the ball on the turf during the first half of Super Bowl LVII, he will undoubtedly focus on protecting the ball more this time around. He has shown when he goes to work on a certain area, improvement follows. Expect defenses to struggle to rip the ball from the vice grip of a determined Hurts.
