It's showtime! Well... Almost... Another step in the NFL's offseason journey has been taken. We have long known who the Philadelphia Eagles' opponents in the coming campaign are. We now know when those games will be played. Pro football's full regular-season schedule has been released.

There's a game in Brazil, the first one ever. Technically, Philly is the home team and will host the Green Bay Packers.

Who would have thought? Guess what? That's just the first game. Buckle up! The ride figures to be a fun one.

The Birds also tackle the L.A. Rams, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the members of both the AFC North and the NFC South... And, then there are those games versus the rivals. Can you say mini-revenge tour?

Eagles fans are assured of a two-game revenge tour featuring Saquon Barkley versus the Giants.

Fans of the four teams in the NFC East will be treated to a huge helping of 'familiar faces in new places'. Dan Quinn leaves the Dallas Cowboys to lead the Washington Commanders as their head coach. He brought former Cowboys Dorance Armstrong and Tyler Biadasz with him. Former Eagles Marcus Mariota, Zach Ertz, and Olamide Zaccheaus were also added.

Philly scored a major coup of their own this offseason. stealing the best player the Giants had on their offensive roster. Yep! We're discussing two-time Pro Bowler Saquon Barkley.

Big Blue's fans aren't happy. Words like traitor and selfish have been tossed around. Giants fans have destroyed their jerseys. We've even seen Saquon's daughter dunk on the G-Men.

Here's what New York's fans seem to have forgotten. Their team, as it always does, has to play the Birds twice this season, and no one is more petty than Nick Sirianni.

Philly tackles their long-time foe on the road on October 20th and during Week 18 in the regular season finale. That one is a home date, but the time still has yet to be determined.

Expect Saquon to say all the right things leading up to both games. You can also expect Philly to place him in positions to stick it to his old team.

Expect him to run roughshod over the Giants, especially during that game at MetLife Stadium. Frankly, we can't wait. We've seen the back-and-forth between Saquon and his former fans on social media. There's no need to revisit that here, but here's what we can promise you.

We expect the Birds to win both games and do so by 100 points or more. We expect Barkley to reach the end zone in both contests.
