Who are some of the forgotten players that have a realistic shot at making the Eagles roster?

We have long known who the starters are on both sides of the ball. Figuring out the back half has led us to debate. There are guys that we have stopped discussing. Here are a few names that belong on that list: Kyron Johnson, Dennis Kelly, Tyree Jackson, Marlon Tuipulotu, and Greedy Williams.

Don't expect any of those guys to make a late push and earn roster spots. There just isn't much there with any of them, and following Josh Sills' return, he hasn't done much to make us believe he will earn a spot on the 53-man roster for the second straight year. Many of these guys are playing for spots on other teams.

Four undrafted rookies made the roster in 2022. That won't happen in 2023, will it?

We love seeing new guys and undrafted guys make names for themselves. It's always fun to have a few darkhorse candidates on your list of prospects that can make the roster. Think about guys like T.J. Edwards and Corey Clement if you need examples.

Last September, four UDFAs survived final roster cuts and were with the Eagles all season: Reed Blankenship, Josh Jobe, the aforementioned Josh Sills, and Britain Covey. As exciting a prospect as that may be for some of the new guys, we won't see anything like that happen this time around.

Much of the 53-man roster is set in stone. Figure about 42 guys. It appears that Philly is determining who the last 11 guys are, and many of those guys will probably be veterans.
