Dolphins offense vs. Commanders defense

You already know about the Dolphins’ offense. They’re high powered and they can score from anywhere.

Tua Tagovailoa throws the ball ludicrously quickly. He averages the fastest release in the league at 2.36 seconds. That's helped his team (and himself) out a ton. The only notable thing worth mentioning here is four out of their five starting offensive linemen are dinged up.

That shouldn’t matter a great deal, because the Commanders neutered their defensive line at the trade deadline. This defense stinks. They are going to get picked apart. They're going to be run on. They're going to be thoroughly overwhelmed on every play.

Prediction: Dolphins -9.5

The thing about the Dolphins is that they beat bad teams and lose to good teams. Still, even with all of that being said, they are the owners of a +88-point differential.

The Commanders are a bad team. They own a -104 point differential. Don’t overthink this one. If you mix those two elements we’re looking at a double-digit Dolphins win.
