Quez Watkins, wide receiver

Sometimes, there are names that are mentioned that evoke the emotions of a fan base. We all had our opinions of Jalen Reagor. We all pretty much felt the same way about him if we're being honest. To a man (or a woman), we're all probably happy that he isn't on this roster now.

Quez Watkins was selected by the Eagles during the same NFL Draft that Philly found Reag in, albeit 179 draft picks later. Fast Batman, like the former 21st overall selection, has been a topic of discussion.

No one likes to kick a man when he's down. Quez has had a good camp so far, but it's hard to forget about that fumble on Monday Night Football versus the Washington Commanders or his crucial drop in Super Bowl LVII. As the third wide receiver on Philadelphia's depth chart, Number 16 has to be better, and he knows that.

To his credit, he has put together some impressive showings during the early stages of training camp. Sure, we can acknowledge that guys have run around in shorts early and that there was no tackling when the pads came on, but it's nice to see that Quez hasn't lost his confidence.
