2. Jalen Hurts, Eagles

As the quarterback of the no. 1 seeded Philadelphia Eagles, Jalen Hurts has to be up there in the NFL MVP conversation. The Eagles are one of the best teams in all of football, and Hurts is playing under center for said team. It's a pretty easy equation to figure out these days.

Over his last five games, specifically, Hurts has thrown for an average of 234 yards per game while tossing 10 touchdowns to two picks. He has also rushed for 156 yards and six touchdowns in total during that span.

While Hurts has been good, the Eagles offense still has yet to hit its ceiling on a consistent basis. Philly is also coming off a loss in which Hurts completed just over 57 percent of his passes and finished with a QBR of 40.4.

It is tough to put him atop the list after a big loss like the one suffered against San Francisco, but Hurts still deserves to be top-2, without a doubt. At the end of the year, he'll still be in the MVP conversation. But, this next guy might just win it over him, to the disdain of Eagles fans everywhere.
