Prop Bet #1: Jalen Hurts Over 3,625.5 Passing Yards(-112)

The first prop bet revolves around the Eagles' star quarterback's passing yard production. In his breakout season in 2022, Jalen Hurts threw for 3,701 yards in fifteen games played. He also had a 66.5 completion percentage and attempted 460 passes in the game action that he had.

Even with Hurts having a career year in 2022, it could have been even better. There were multiple games where the Eagles' offensive starters, including Hurts, did not play any portion of the fourth quarter. Hurts also did not play in two games, further reducing the number of his potential passing yards.

In this sense, betting the over line for Hurts is very enticing, especially considering the -112 odds for either the over or under. The offense has only gotten better, and Hurts will be in his second year, having all of A.J. Brown, Devonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert at his disposal.

There is a strong argument to bet the under for Hurts' passing yards. He lost offensive coordinator to Shane Steichen to Indianapolis and has yet to show that he can play a full season. In addition, there is a possibility that Hurts hit his ceiling last season.

Yet, I am very reluctant to be against Jalen Hurts and his talent. He has shown no signs of slowing down, and I expect him to be even better this season.

Verdict: PICK
