Questions the Eagles and their NFC East rivals must answer in the offseason.
Can the New York Giants bounce back after missing the playoffs last season?
At the close of the 2022 season, there was hope for the New York Giants. They were coming off earning a spot in the Divisional Round of the NFC Playoffs. Their head coach, Brian Daboll, looked like he found the formula to get the best out of quarterback Daniel Jones. Then, the 2023 regular season began... Nothing...
Trust us. We aren't complaining, but the G-men took a step back last season. Daniel Jones couldn't stay healthy, and his offensive line didn't help any of the quarterbacks that suited up behind him. Try giving up 85 sacks in 2023 on for size.
New York's defense wasn't any better. They surrendered the seventh-most points per game (23.9) last season. The Giants' rush defense was also dreadful, They gave up the fourth most yards (2,251).
New York has a lot of holes to fill in the offseason. Two are obvious. Will New York draft a replacement for Daniel Jones in the coming NFL Draft? What will they do once their best (and lone) offensive weapon, Saquon Barkley, leaves?
