2. Seattle Seahawks

2. 8-8, 3rd in NFC West (Possible 7th seed)

The Seahawks can still earn the seventh seed. They'd need help to take it though. They need a Packers loss, and they need to win a road contest versus the Arizona Cardinals.

As is the case with Green Bay, the Eagles will only see the Hawks if Philly is the 2nd seed. The Seahawks have had Philly's number for a while which is why we rank this as potentially the second toughest matchup.

Pete Carroll hasn't lost to the Birds as the Seahawks head coach, and we'd like to avoid his squad in the postseason if possible.

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

1. 8-8, 1st in NFC South (Possible 4th seed)

At this point, this feels like the Eagles' most realistic matchup. It is also one they might be in danger of losing.

The Bucs are getting hot at the right time. We see what's happening with Philadelphia. If the Eagles wind up as the fifth seed (again, the most likely scenario) and Tampa wins the NFC South, the Birds' first playoff game would be at Raymond James Stadium.

They won there earlier this season, but again, this is a different Bucs team now. It's very possible this matchup as the teams are currently constructed could result in a one-and-done postseason for Philly.
