It wasn't a perfect performance, but the Eagles won. We're here to tip our caps to some of Week 8's stars.

It won't always be perfect. The Eagles weren't perfect in Week 8, but they walk out of Landover victorious.

It wasn't perfect. Who cares? You see... Some of you just don't get it. This is the NFL. The Philadelphia Eagles have an opportunity and the ability to step onto the field and win every game that they compete in. Still, week in and week out, despite the win-loss record of the opponent, everyone the Birds face will have NFL players on their rosters too.

Ladies and gentlemen, if you're expecting Philly to win every game by 20 points, that isn't going to happen. The defending NFC champions will get everyone's best shot. You aren't watching the Georgia Bulldogs play the Vanderbilt Commodores.

So, was the game too close to comfort at times? Oh, absolutely! Sure, the Birds could have done a better job of holding on to the football, but they're 7-1. That's all that matters.

Improvements will be made. The next game is against the Dallas Cowboys, but let's celebrate the most recent win for a few more hours, shall we?
