How does the Eagles' power-packed cornerback duo stack up versus their peers in the NFC East?

When the 2023 NFL season begins, both of the Philadelphia Eagles' starting cornerbacks will have eclipsed the 30-year-old threshold. You've heard that a time or two, right?

Everyone approaches their 30th birthday differently. Some believe '30 is the new 20'. In football, however, '30 is the same old 30'. Teams often begin looking for replacements for their veterans. The individual players are treated as if they need to apply for social security. Darius Slay and James Bradberry have managed to age graciously.

The 2022-2023 Eagles campaign was their first season as teammates. Slay earned a second consecutive Pro Bowl nod. James Bradberry earned Second-Team All-Pro honors for the first time in his career. Slay is seemingly more talented, but J.B. was more consistent as Darius started hot and cooled as the season wore on. That has some asking if we'll begin to see a decline this season.

Here's the good news. Philly will again field one of the best starting cornerback tandems in all of the NFL. How do they rank versus their peers in the NFC East? We're glad that you asked.

Here's a look at how the NFC East's top six corners rank when stacked versus one another. They'll be tested by some superior receiving talent on other rosters all season.
