We aren't quite ready to place some of the NFC East's talented rookies ahead of established NFL veterans.

The Commanders employ two rookies you'll need to pay attention to, Emmanuel Forbes and Jartavius Martin. The former was one of the highest-graded cornerbacks of the most recent NFL Draft class and a wiz at forcing turnovers. The latter was the selection meeting's 47th overall selection in Round 2. He figures to settle in as Washington's starting slot corner.

The New York Giants also have a talented young prospect in their wheelhouse (Deonte Banks). We aren't quite ready to place first-year players ahead of established veterans on a player ranking though. We'll revisit where Banks, Forbes, and Martin are at some point during the season.

The top six cornerbacks in the NFC East are as follows.

6. Adoree' Jackson, New York Giants

Adoree' Jackson figures to start outside for the Giants in 2023. He's undersized at five-foot-ten and 185 pounds, so he could struggle when matched up with bigger wide receivers. In 23 career games with the G-Men, he has picked off one pass (and he hasn't tallied an interception since Week 11 of the 2021 season. Still, he's good enough to be an NFL starter.

5. Kendall Fuller, Washington Commanders

Kendall Fuller is already the owner of a Super Bowl ring thanks to his time with the Kansas City Chiefs. That's a good thing for him because there's no telling when he'll win one as a member of the Commnaders.

Washington's struggles aren't attributable to Fuller. He's actually one of the better players they have to hang their hats on. He isn 't the perfect prototypical cover guy, but he isn't a slouch either. Two of his three interceptions last season were turned for touchdowns.
