17. Baltimore Ravens
Ra’Shede Hageman
Nose Tackle/Defensive End, Minnesota

Previously: Eric Ebron (Tight End, North Carolina)

Giorgos:

The Baltimore Ravens have a lot of option at this point. They have a number of offensive tackles and wide receivers available, the draft’s best tight end in Eric Ebron and versatile defensive lineman Ra’Shede Hageman. The latter is a raw but also a versatile player that can line up all over their defensive line. Hageman needs to become tougher and improve his overall technique, but his combination of size, strentgth and agility is rare.

Dave:

Fair warning: This was my idea and I’m sure I’ll catch heat for this pick. Usually, this pick comes down to a tight end, wide receiver, or linebacker. For some reason, I feel like this pick makes sense due to the Ravens running a hybrid defense. Haloti Ngata can play both end and tackle depending on the front, and adding a mammoth like Hageman only increases that versatility.
